Description
A Luna moth with a secret twist – pale spring green meets deep burgundy in this handcrafted soft sculpture. Inspired by Actias luna, this doll brings a richer, darker edge to the ethereal shape of its namesake.
The wings are not painted. Instead, their color comes from carefully blended translucent polymer clay. The material lets a little light through. Near a window or lamp, the wings can show a soft inner glow. They are not transparent, but the light gives them extra depth.
Every part is made by hand, from the sculpted eyes to the fur-covered body. The wing patterns are never exactly the same. This gives each moth its own small differences and makes every doll one of a kind.
A hidden magnet inside the body lets the moth cling to metal surfaces. A self-adhesive metal plate is also included. You can use it when your chosen spot is not magnetic.
The doll can rest on a shelf, sit by a window, or travel safely in a bag. It is a small, quiet creature that does not demand attention, but always feels close by.
