Cute Spanish Moon Moth Doll

Cute Spanish Moon Moth (small version) is handmade from faux fur, polymer clay, sintepon, wire, and feathers – just like all my dolls. This soft art doll isn’t just a moth; it’s a tiny companion with wide eyes and undeniable charm. Its proportions are playful, with small wings, a rounded body, and and a gaze that feels curious, gentle, and a bit playful.

The wings are sculpted entirely by hand, without molds or templates. They’re not painted – their color comes from the clay itself, mixed and shaped to create a pattern that’s unique to this doll. The legs have a wire core and can gently shift, and the feathered antennae are sewn to stay in place. Inside the body, there’s a strong neodymium magnet that lets the moth sit on metal surfaces. A self-adhesive response plate is included in case the spot isn’t magnetic.

This version is smaller – about 20 × 12 cm – and often feels more like a cartoon version of a real moth. It’s lighthearted, easy to hold, and has a sweetness that stands on its own. Not every moth needs to look realistic. This one feels like a babe – wide-eyed, harmless, and ready to sit by your side.
