Rosy Maple Moth Plush Doll (2025 Edition)

Description

This Rosy Maple Moth doll is bright, cozy, and full of wonder. Compared to my earlier design, this version has larger wings, a slightly different vein pattern, and a new textured fur in sunny yellow and soft pink shades. It’s inspired by the real Dryocampa rubicunda and designed to radiate joy wherever it lands.

Each doll is handmade from scratch using polymer clay, faux fur, sintepon, and feathers – no paint is used, so all colors come from carefully chosen materials. This makes the tones vivid and long-lasting. The wings are detailed and textured so they shimmer gently in the light. Since I sculpt every pair separately, each moth has its own unique character.

The body is soft yet structured, with a dense filling that helps it keep its shape. The legs are slightly poseable, and the fluffy feather antennae add charm and liveliness. Inside the body, there is a strong neodymium magnet, allowing the moth to perch on metal surfaces such as lamps, fridges, or bookshelves. A steel adhesive plate is included, so you can place your moth wherever you like.
